OPORA RUSSIA meeting with participation of the Minister of Construction
On July 6, a joint meeting of the presidiums of OPORA RUSSIA and the NP OPORA Association was held with the participation of the Minister of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities Irek Fayzullin. The Russian Forest Association was represented at the event by its first vice-president Andrey Goncharov, who also heads the OPORA RUSSIA Commission for the forest complex.
The central topic of the meeting was summing up the results of the joint work of OPORA RUSSIA and the Ministry of Construction within the framework of the cooperation agreement that was signed last year at SPIEF. In his speech, the head of OPORA RUSSIA, Alexander Kalinin, highlighted the main results of the joint work - specific solutions and initiatives that help small businesses:
- businesses got the opportunity to change the price of a government contract due to a sharp increase in prices for building materials;
- the procedure for taxing crushed stone when levying a tax on the extraction of minerals has been changed;
- terms for obtaining building permits are being reduced: compared to last year, the terms for commissioning permits have been reduced and average 34.5 days;
- the draft law of the Ministry of Construction was approved on the introduction of a single deadline for conducting state environmental expertise and expertise of project documentation within a single application;
- A free economic zone has appeared in new territories.

Cooperation with the Ministry of Construction will continue, in particular, in four new regions, where it is planned to popularize the mechanism of work within the free economic zone. The leaders of OPORA RUSSIA and the Association NP OPORA also discussed topical organizational issues and made a number of management decisions.
