Two thousand trees were planted in the Moscow region before the start of the Forest Forum
On October 4, the National Forest Forum was held in Moscow, before which the heads of regional forest departments planted about 2 thousand trees in the Moscow Region as part of the «Save the Forest» campaign.
New trees appeared in Istra forestry. Mikhail Klinov — Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency, Nikolai Nikolaev — Chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations of the Russian Federation State Duma, and Sergey Pakhalyuk — Vice President of the Russian Forest Association, took part in the action.
Before the campaign «Save the Forest» ends on October 31, Russia plans to plant another 20 million trees.
