In 2025, the priority areas for the development of the industry will be the improvement of human resources and the introduction of digital technologies

At a meeting with the directors of 43 branches of Rosleskhoz, Ivan Sovetnikov, summed up the results of the year and outlined the main tasks for 2025. First of all, attention will be paid to improving human resources and actively introducing digital technologies to improve the efficiency of the industry. Attracting qualified specialists and creating conditions for their professional growth are recognized as important steps to ensure high-quality work of the forest system.

Special attention will be paid to attracting young specialists, which will provide prospects for development and innovation in the industry. Training and mentoring will help transfer valuable knowledge and skills to a new generation ready to solve modern problems.

Further digitalization of processes in forestry will also be an important aspect, which will significantly improve the accuracy of monitoring and resource management. The introduction of modern technologies will create opportunities to optimize work and improve forest management, ensuring the protection and sustainable development of ecosystems.

An integrated approach to monitoring forest stands, including forest pathology monitoring and updating the data system, will allow for timely detection of violations and objective planning of forest protection measures, minimizing the impact of factors that damage ecosystems.

In addition, it is proposed to expand the list of objects around which felling of hazardous trees is permitted. This list may include children's camps, medical institutions, sports and tourist facilities, as well as road infrastructure.
