Russian-Chinese Forum: Meeting with Delegation of Shandong Province

On July 6, the Russian-Chinese Forum on Trade and Economic Cooperation with Shandong Province was held in Moscow. The Russian Timber Association was represented at the event by its First Vice President Andrey Goncharov, who also heads the OPORA RUSSIA Commission on the Forest Complex.

The forum was held as part of the visit of a representative delegation of entrepreneurs from Shandong Province led by Deputy Governor Song Junji. The delegation included more than 50 business representatives in the fields of energy, automotive manufacturing, construction, agriculture, food industry, biotechnology and other industries.

Shandong Province is one of the leading economic regions of China, distinguished by its developed production and market infrastructure. The region actively uses advanced technologies, the industry covers a wide range of areas - from high-tech manufacturing and mechanical engineering to the agro-industrial complex and fisheries.

The forum was a continuation of active dialogue with Chinese partners. Earlier this year, the Russian Timber Association had already taken part in events with delegations from China, including a meeting of OPORA RUSSIA with small business representatives and B2B meetings with a delegation from Wuhan.
