Expert RA rating agency has published a ranking of ESG transparency of Russian companies. As in the previous year, the leading positions were taken by the largest exporters, as well as Sber and Moscow Exchange. This is the fourth such study by the agency, the first was conducted in 2021.

To compile the transparency rating, Expert RA analysts studied 79 annual reports, 59 sustainability reports, 14 ESG databooks, as well as environmental and social reports of companies. Since 2024, the agency has been assessing the disclosure of information in accordance with the methodological recommendations for preparing sustainability reports approved by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In the reporting period, these recommendations were applied in 31% of the companies included in the analysis.

The leaders of the ranking in 2024 were En+ Group, Norilsk Nickel and PhosAgro. They received the maximum score for ESG transparency disclosure — 2.
