A new priority investment project is being implemented in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

At the Expodrev-2023 exhibition, the Basis company (a member of the Russian Forest association) presented a priority investment project - the creation of a new production facility for the production of OSB boards, lumber and pellets in Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The total investment amount will be 8.5 billion rubles. The project is designed for eight years: from the fourth quarter of 2022 to the fourth quarter of 2030. The annual volume of the estimated cutting area used is 3,145.1 thousand m3. During the implementation of the project, 1,300 jobs will be created.

Olga Kalyuzhnaya, President of the Russian Forest Association: “Currently, the forestry complex is one of the most attractive industries for investors: this is where changes occur and new opportunities open up. The emergence of new priority investment projects for the development of the forestry complex confirms this trend.".

The planned annual production volume is 660,000 m3 of lumber, 300,000 m3 of OSB boards, 180,000 tons of pellets, 70,000 m3 charcoal.

Alexei Panov, Acting Minister of Forestry of the Krasnoyarsk Territory: “Today, 11 investment projects in the forestry sector are being implemented in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, five more are at various stages of approval. The mechanism of priority investment projects takes into account the interests of all parties involved: for investors these are attractive business conditions, for the region - infrastructure development and tax deductions, for the population - new jobs and improvement of the social sphere. As part of the already completed investment projects in the region, the enterprise hired more than 3,000 people, the total amount of invested funds amounted to 27.3 billion rubles.”.
