Results of the international exhibition PulpFor 2025
From November 25th to 27th, PulpFor 2025, an exhibition of equipment and technologies for the pulp and paper industry, was held in St. Petersburg. The event once again confirmed its status as a leading industry platform, bringing together over 12,000 specialists and over 300 companies. The exhibition occupied approximately 12,000 square meters, and the business program included 25 hours of expert discussions with 76 speakers.
On the first day, a delegation from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and government officials toured the exhibition. Discussions included government support measures, production modernization, exports, and personnel issues. The business dialogue continued with a plenary session featuring top managers from pulp and paper companies and ministry staff. The second part of the day was devoted to market analysis, recycling technologies, and business case studies.
On the second day, talks at the exhibition stands and equipment demonstrations continued. Experts discussed environmental risks, the implementation of digital solutions, improving equipment reliability, and staff training. The PulpFor Awards 2025 ceremony took place in the evening. Ilim Group, Neokhim, GLOBAL CHEMICAL, Solikamskbumprom, and Goznak received awards for projects in the areas of human resource development, social initiatives, ecology, and technological solutions.
The final day was devoted to final meetings and the signing of new agreements. The PulpFor 2025 Student Award ceremony was also held in the "Practical Import Substitution in the Pulp and Paper Industry" competition. The winners were Ksenia Sobolevskaya (ITMO), Ekaterina Kadyaeva (SPbGUPTD), Daria Perevozchikova (SPbGUPTD), and the special prize winner was Oleg Petrunichev (SPbGLTU). The students' work attracted interest from businesses and could form the basis for future technological solutions.
