B2B meetings with a delegation from Wuhan: new prospects for Russian-Chinese cooperation

On April 3, a working meeting with a delegation of entrepreneurs from Wuhan (Hubei Province, China) was held in Moscow, organized by “OPORA RUSSIA”. The event was attended by representatives of industrial, technological, transport and forestry companies from China and Russia. The “Russian Forest” Association was represented by its First Vice President Andrey Goncharov, who also heads the “OPORA RUSSIA” Commission on the Forest Complex.

The main goal of the Chinese delegation's visit was to establish B2B contacts and search for promising partners among Russian companies. The discussion focused on “ issues of product certification, features of joint business, logistics, as well as further steps to develop cooperation.

The parties paid special attention to the possibilities of cooperation in the forestry sector, including joint investments, export of processed timber and the introduction of technologies to improve production efficiency.

The dialogue with representatives of one of the key economic centers of China was an important step towards expanding international cooperation and opens up new opportunities for Russian enterprises in the forestry complex.
