Association "Russian Timber" - 10 years

On November 13, the National Association of Timber Industry “Russian Timber” turns 10 years old. Today we want to congratulate the members of the Association on this occasion and thank all our partners for their joint work!

For 10 years, the Association has been working to create favorable conditions for the development of the forestry complex for the effective functioning of the economy, social and environmental security of the Russian Federation. Our efforts are aimed at popularizing the principle of responsible forest management and promoting modern technologies in the field of forest restoration and conservation, increasing the transparency of the industry, and improving regulations in the forestry sector. The association conducts joint activities with other business associations and helps build a dialogue between business and the state.

A lot has changed in the forestry industry over the past 10 years. But even now, in spite of everything, it remains attractive to investors, new priority investment projects are emerging for the development of the forestry complex. Within their framework, modern factories with the latest equipment are being created to produce a wide range of advanced wood processing products intended for the domestic market and export.
