Andrey Goncharov took part in the IX Nevsky International Ecological Congress
On May 27-28, the IX Nevsky International Ecological Congress was held in St. Petersburg - one of the key events in Russia and the CIS to discuss topics in the field of nature protection and nature management, as well as issues of harmonizing environmental legislation.
Andrey Goncharov, vice-president of the «Russian Forest» association, took part in the congress as part of the session “Forest resources: preserving the lungs of the planet”.

In his message to the Federal Assembly on April 21, 2021, the President of the Russian Federation clearly indicated that all decisions in the economy are made in cooperation with the business community. All government bodies and businesses must work in a unified logic.
2021 is the year of science and technology. The decision to digitize the forestry industry was made at the state level. The Russian Forest Association proposes to create a platform where businesses can contribute to the development and implementation of technological solutions in the industry.
The formation of such a platform with the participation of the Russian Forest Association will allow combining the resources of the state, the scientific community and business in the following areas:
- Identifying talented youth and building a successful career in the field of forestry technologies and innovations for young professionals;
- Carrying out research and development in the forestry complex in accordance with the best Russian and world practices;
- Creation of an effective communication system in the field of science, technology and innovation.
